Phil Crompton to Speak at AIA Conference
in Miami in October
(Miami, FL - September 2006) Phil Crompton,
Principal and head of Vantage's Healthcare Group, will be
one of the guest speakers at the American Institute of Architects'
fall conference in Miami, Florida. The theme of the
conference, which will take place from October 18-21, 2006
at the InterContinental Hotel, Miami, is The Technologically
Sophisticated Healthcare Environment. Phil will
address the conference on the subject of Innovation and
Infrastructure: Connecting the Healthcare Enterprise.
Mark Adams and Mike Dannenberg Join
Vantage as Senior Consultants, Project Managers
(Manhattan Beach, CA - September 2006)
Vantage is pleased to welcome Mark Adams and Mike Dannenberg
to our team, both in the role of Senior Consultant, Project
Manager.
Mark Adams brings more than 25 years of
experience in both film- and video-based technology systems
to the team. His areas of expertise include education and
corporate facilities as well as entertainment attraction audio,
video, and motion simulation theaters. His varied creative
and solid technical background provides him with the diversity
needed to find solutions to audiovisual design and implementation
challenges. And no matter what the project, Mark takes pride
in collaborating with clients to identify opportunities to
use technologies to improve performance and minimize costs
over the long term.
Mike Dannenberg comes to Vantage with
18 years of project management experience in technical design
and installation - from large-screen attractions at theme
parks to corporate telecommunications systems for some of
the biggest names in business. He is well-versed in integrated
videoconferencing design, working closely with clients to
create environments that offer seamless interpersonal connectivity.
He also has considerable experience in addressing the specific
needs of education and healthcare clients. Mike has obtained
his CTS certification as well as becoming well versed in integrated
videoconferencing design and environment specifics.
Eric Rochelson Joins Vantage as Associate
Principal and Director of Engineering
(Manhattan Beach, CA - August 2006) Vantage
is pleased to welcome Eric Rochelson as our new Associate
Principal and Director of Engineering. His primary role with
Vantage is to provide oversight, direction and quality control
for projects across all markets and service types.
Eric's 20 years of diverse career experience
as a chief engineer and project manager for a systems integrator,
touring audio engineer, and technical director for live theater
performances gives him the ability to help clients efficiently
adapt to any environment. He is responsible for a number of
landmark audiovisual projects worldwide, and understands the
unique needs and perspectives of different stakeholders that
require customized approaches to work toward a common goal:
a successful project.
Eric has presented on the convergence
of technologies to BICSI and has earned his designation as
Certified Technical Specialist - Design (CTS-D).
Andrea Walden Promoted to Associate
Principal
(Manhattan Beach, CA - August 2006)
Vantage is pleased to announce that Marketing Director Andrea
Walden has been promoted to the position of Associate Principal
- a move that reflects her extensive knowledge of the building
industry and her ability to help new clients connect with
Vantage through carefully targeted marketing and business
development initiatives. Andrea's 18 years of experience in
the industry with multidisciplinary firms is focused on customer
relations, business development, project management, marketing
and strategic planning. Her specialized experience includes
market research and project teaming. She is also an active
member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services.
Vantage to Provide Technology Consulting
for UC Berkeley Law and Business Connection
(Berkeley, CA - May 2006) The University
of California, Berkeley (University) is planning to construct
a new classroom and office building that will serve the Law
School and Business School by linking together two existing
buildings. The new building, known as the Law and Business
Connection, is planned to be approximately 175,000 square
feet and is budgeted to cost $100M. Technology will be a critical
component of the new facility. Vantage was selected by Moore
Ruble Yudell Architects to provide Technology Consulting services
to support the planning, architectural integration, procurement,
and installation of designated Audiovisual Systems for the
project.

Media Environments by Vantage Principal David Gales
(Manhattan Beach, CA - March 2006) Vantage
Principal David Gales was recently featured in the March 2006
issue of Urban Land, the magazine of the Urban
Land Institute. The article, entitled "Design
and the Digital Age", discusses how the integration of
media and technology creates new forms of communication designed
specifically for public spaces.

Vantage to Provide Information Technology
Consulting Services for Orange County Water District
(Fountain Valley, CA - February 2006)
Vantage has teamed with RNL Design to provide information
technology consulting services for the Orange County Water
District. The OCWD is a groundwater management agency responsible
for the protection and management of the water supply for
Central and Northern Orange County. The District has outgrown
their existing facility and will be building a new 41,000
s.f. lab facility in Fountain Valley.
